I know that the topic title seems a little veg. but what I'm trying to do is find a saying or slogan that would fit my figure.I am in the process of putting the finishing touches on my 1/10th bust of a US Infantry soldier during Viet Nam.
Here are some of the suggestions that were told to me.
1.All gave some,some gave all
2.You think the infantry is the only thing, your damn right it is!
3.Infantry...what else is there.
If you have any suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them.
Thank you

Without seeing the figure to provide some context, I'd suggest researching the particular infantry unit he is supposed to be in. Each has its own motto.
My first thought though, being a graduate of the Harmony Church School for Boys, is "I am the Infantry- Follow me!

I agree with Robert, it would be easier if we could see the figure. But here's something you might like:
"Infantry, first in, last out"

Hi Jody
Without seeing the figure, I might go for "Nobody said it was going to be easy..."
All the best

I can think of a lot that would be appropriate but would get your figure banned from any show! So, how bout...
"Another glorious day to be an Infantry soldier!"
"You don't own it till you have boots on the ground."
"Infantry Leads The Way - Follow Me!"
"This wasn't in the travel brochure..."
"The only easy day is yesterday..."
"Walking Point"
"29 and a wake up"
I could come up with a whole bookfull more if I got a couple more old Infantry Sergeants together for an evening, but that's a major undertaking and you couldn't afford the beer bill.

Paul, you should know that it's the SAPPERs that are 'first in and last out'
