Hello all,
So I was looking at different sculpting clays on Amazon and under a recommended product it mentioned Instamorph. The description says its beads that melt at pretty low temps but set up as hard plastic. Has anyone used it before? If so is it good for making a master from? Does it melt when the mold is setting? Here is the link for those interested. http://www.amazon.com/InstaMorph-Moldable-Plastic-12-oz/dp/B003QKLJKQ/ref=pd_sim_t_32

Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere, i did a search and got nothing on here. Also Sorry for not doing the link the easy way, my tablet wont cooperate.

I don't have any knowledge of it, but it looks like a bench requirement. Hope some else can enlighten us.

Hi there

By total coincidence, I ordered a pot of one of the equivalent products from Amazon UK earlier today after reading the customer reviews. It does look like it could be really useful, either for finished parts themselves, or simply for jigs that you can melt down and re-use when you're done. It might even work as a filler? We'll see...

All the best

I just got a pound of IM from Amazon. I've got some molds to make soon, and I'll report back.
