The Touch n' Flow applicator that came with my starter set of Tenax broke (for some reason it just oozes the stuff all over whatever the needle is touching in HUGE drops). Is there any other way to apply this "wonder glue"?

I also have some confusion about where to apply the stuff - if I put it on the seam, the plastic near it dissolves into goo, whereas if I put it between the parts, the stuff evaporates before I can stick 'em together! Aaaah!

As far as an applicator I used to use an old detail paintbrush.

I had pretty good success holding the joint together and letting
'capillary action' draw it into the seam and bond the parts together.

I've since gone almost exclusively to Cyano but do have a favorable impression of Tenax.

I use a fine tipped paintbrush for mine. I just hold the pieces togather and run the brush down the seem. If there is enough Tenax on the brush it will run down the seem ahead of the brush. Once you use a brush for this though that is all it can be used for.

TENEX,
I use a 10/0 paint brush held at the join of parts and I also use an Insulin needle
filled w/ the glue. This allows precise application w/ no smudges.

I will sometimes use a "Speedball" lettering pen tip.
I seem to have an unending supply of these things from my youth...(wanted to be an editorial cartoonist/artist)

My experience with a brush has been very mixed.
I now use a needle and hold the two pieces together and touch one end of the seam and let capilary action do the rest. Be very stingy with the quantity of glue.
The key is holding the pieces together.

I use drafting pens I picked up at yard sales for all liquid cements.
