I was just wondering what kits you folks are currently building? Myself I am working on two Italeri's M4A1 Sherman and a Tamiya Jeep.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through an Academy 1/35 Panzer IV Ausf. H. I glued the lower body and upperbody together lastnight and they look pretty good aside from many problems during assembly (review to follow).

I've got an AFV Club M10 Tank Destroyer that I'm putting stowage and gear on. My Tamiya M3 Stuart (Early) is nearly done - I've scratchbuilt a complete interior, engine, and turret for this model. I'm particularly proud of it.

I have a Tamiya M8 HMC that is in the construction phase. It has a complete interior and engine compartment too, just waiting for painting.

On the other side of the room, I have a scratchbuilt Honest John Rocket Launcher, Lacrosse Guided Missile Launcher, and Davy Crockett Atomic Battle Group Weapon System waiting for some light detail additions before painting.

I'm currently building Tamiya's Early M4, nearing completion. AFV Club's M59 Long Tom, at the painting stage now. And lastly Academy's M12, just underway.
Does everyone like to have more than one kit going at the same time? I find it's nice to be able to jump to another when you're at a stage of building one where you need to stop for parts to dry or something else which causes a pause.

Yep Kencelot - at least for me - I like to have more than one thing going. I switch off between projects while paint or glue sets up properly - keep my mits off the model...

I am taking my first stab at armor right now, a tamiya M4A3. I am also doing a few figures to get my skills up on them.

Things have kept me from building any for the last while, but my Revell BO 105 HeliTOW is waiting for a paint job. I am in research mode for Tamiya's M8 Greyhound, 6X6 2˝ ton and Leopard 2 A5 (Swedens Strv 122)

I am going to redo my work area, hopefully I will get more done then!

Working on a RPM kit "Traktor 730(f). Not a bad build actually. Definately different from Tamiy, DML, or Italeri.Directions in Polish, but reasonably clear illustrations. If it turns out well, I'll try and post some pictures.

I've got the ancient Tamiya SAS Jeep in the works as well as a Tamiya M151A2 MUTT. Both nice kits and although the SAS Jeep has been elipsed by it's younger brother (which Santa stuffed in my stocking) it is holds up nicely.

Lets see, 2 or 3 kits in the works, thats nothing.LOL Try several kits in the works. I have a M2A2 on the table along with a 1/32 trumpeter A10. I also started Imex's 1/35 Apache. I also got to many figures to name. On paper I have a Afghanatsan dio in mind and Im thinking about doing another Somalia dio this time with a Blackhawk. My problem is taht I cant finish what I get started, especially since I work part time at a hobby store. I tend to by all the new stuff when it comes out and want to start it.

I've got an Italeri RSO w/PAK 40 almost done. Also working on an Academy M113 IDF Communication vehicle, A Revell M113 in UN scheme , and an Italeri UH-19.
I like moving amoung several projects. It seems to keep me from rushing and making mistakes.

What's your opinion of the Trumpeter A10 kit? I've read some negative stuff in RMS.

I've got one, have not started it, but it looks superb. It's about Tamiya armor level quality. Well worth the money (

Make sure you show us some pictures of that Long Tom when you're ready! I'd really like to see it. There aren't enough of those pictures on the net.

I am currently contructing Tamiya' s King Tiger Producton Turret, Waspe, and 8 ton semi-track w/ 3.7 cm flak37. I have the Tiger I Late, JagdPanther and Academy's Merk II primed/base coated.

But honestly, I don't spend enough time working on my models because I spend too much time surfing the net or playing video games

Currently painting the Tamiya King Tiger with production turret. Just finished the three tone camo. Going to do the ambush patterns. Any good suggestion on how to do them will be greatly appreciated.

Also working on the Styer 1500 from Tamiya, will start Dragon Stug III auf A in a couple days.

I've currently got three kits on the bench.....
1. Hasegawa 1/32 Bf109 E-4
2. Tamiya 1/72 Bf109 E-3
3. Fugimi 1/72 F4-C Phantom II
While one is drying, I work some on another one. I keep all my reference stuff together with the kit that it's for until its completed. This way if one is getting on my last nerve, I can put it on the side and work on one of the outhers.

I am currently working on -

AFV Club SdKfz 11
This one has been fun building. The kit is just amazing. I can't wait to build my next one!

Alan Panzer II D
Definitely not a "shake and bake".

AFV Club M-10
One of my favorite kits, still working on the details... but, having fun. I merged the best parts of the Academy kit in here...

Tamiya Jagdpanther
One of the better kits to come out in the 90's... This one will be painted up for the 560th Jagdpanzer Abteilung during the BoB.

Oh yeah... I also have about 10 other projects started, on hold for more research, or otherwise distracting me from completing my current "main" projects.
Later,
Tim

Darn you guys have a lot going on. I am still pulling my hair out building this SU-76 from Maquette[the old Alan kit]. You know that even the barrel a one piece one had flat spots in it. So another replaced part. Thank God for K&S. tubing. I think the next kit want to do something easy like that new Panther A I just recieved from Squardon.
Latter and a good modeling day to you.

Well the only kit that I've really got going at the current moment is my Alien Warrior. I kinda wanna do a 1/48th plane next... A corsair maybe. Or a P-38? (here we go again )
