Has anyone used Weldbond to attach plastic canopies to model aircraft?

I have not personally done it, but have heard of people that have. Weldbond is a good white glue, and I have used it for other things, including plastic parts. It does dry clear, thus should not be an issue. I normally use the Testor Canopy glue or GS Hypo Glue.
