Hi there
Can anyone tell me what this stuff is?

I bought it on the off-chance from HLJ thinking it was Mr Surfacer... is it?

All the instructions are in Japanese, so I'm none the wiser...
All the best
Rowan

I can only guess that its some sort of filler, but of course i may be wrong.

I agree with Dave on this one ...you just bought a fine compound to shine up your kits ...sorry but it ain't Mr surfacer....but it might get out small scratches in canopies or windshields.

Hi there
Dave and Rick, you're absolutely right! :-)
A quick test shows it's a really nice polishing compound...
Now, of course, the next question is "How do I get hold of some Mr. Surfacer?"
Thank you everyone
Rowan

Merlin,
IM NOT LAUGHING @ U, IM LAUGHING W/ U
Yes it is in deed polishing compound. If you want the BEST results try it w/ your moto tool and a Felt Buffing pad or tip.
I did this w/ a bare metal model master metalizer finish ANNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD
WOOOWWWYYYY what a differance.
You wouldn't believe all the comments I got @ my local club.!!!!!
And I was the one that was impressed the most ,because the kit DIDN"T HIT FILE 13. LOL

Cheers for the tip Rotorhead :-)
Manufacturers must love us modellers - who else would say "I haven't a clue what that stuff is... but I'll buy it anyway!"...

I ordered Mr Surfacer from Great MOdels at $3.55 a bottle. Hopefully they have it in stock, or I'll wait forever for it.
