Jim,
Sorry that I only now respond, I missed this post earlier today.
According to the remarks I received when people left it was a success.
The day started slow because the people where a bit afraid or intimidated to ask stuff but by Lunch everything went fine.
Considering it is the first workshop from Armorama and also for KMK (except internal workshops) everything went smooth. Off course some details in planning etc could be better but that is for the next time, and for sure, there will be a next time.
The KMK club has already asked to do a follow up for march-april 2004
I think that about 15-20 members came (Danny correct me if I am wrong) to the meet and considering the bad weather that is a good turn out.
There was a lot to see and ask: Airbrushing, weathering AFV's, resin usage and working with PE are only a few items covered yesterday.
And our members fired they're questions at the specialists at hand.
Off course, the piece the resistance: Gino Poppe demonstrating his painting skills.
He managed to litterly keep a vast group of admirers focused on his demo which took over 40 minutes! And still we wanted more :-)
Yes, it is save to say ARMORAMA successfully managed thru their first workshop and I know for sure that many more field trips and workshops will follow.
Now go and model so we can see the progress online
