How do I go about masking the blue nose section on this?

If you yet didnīt spray the metalizers, first paint the blue section, then mask it and airbrush the metal finish.
I built a P51 and used Model Master Metalizers and then MM Metalizer Sealer and have no problems later when manipulating the model and decaling. That stuff works really well.

I agree with csch, mask and paint the blue area first followed by the metal finish. I learned this the hard way with my mustang. If you mask the blue area first, you can you almost anything to mask it-masking tape, blue masking tape, etc. Once the blue is dry, mask it to protect it from the metal finish that will go on the rest of the plane.
