I have been building kits off and on since the early 80's. I build mostly 1/35 scale WWI and WWII armor, soft skin and figure kits. One of my favorite subjects is captured vehicles and equipment being used by the enemy. I got out of the hobby for a few years and started up again about 15 years ago. I stopped building again about four years ago and just got the bug again a few weeks ago. The reason for the rekindled interest was that I recently purchased 104 kits from a person for $200.00. They are all 1/35 scale and most are WWII armor, figure sets, artillery and a few soft skin vehicles. They are all Italeri, Tamiya, Dragon, DML and Academy . All but about 6 of them are still in the shrink wrap. So anyway I am back into the hobby once again. I found this site while looking around on the internet. I like what I have seen so far. I have a decent personal reference library and I also save all of my spare parts and instruction sheets. So if I can help anyone out just let me know. Does anyone out there remember the "Parts Depot" that was run by John Rauscher? I really enjoyed it when it was around. Too bad that they stopped it. Is there anything close to that out there? Well I guess that is enough for a first message. Happy modeling all.

Howdy HARV,

You aren't a 6' tall rabbit are you? Just pullin' your leg mate! A hearty welcome to the site. I don't doubt for an instant you'll find a home here. But with all those kits, just be careful of all the 'relatives' who might come 'a callin'!

Tread.

Oh, BTW, if you've spent any time 'trawling' on the site , you'll know that we are all very happy to help you in any way we can. So spend some time with us, and you be the judge. :-)
