Last Satuday I won 2nd place in Armor (the catagory, I wasn't really wearing armor) at the local Model contest. There were several models I would have ranked ahaid of mine, but I'll take it.
There was a great diorama built around the Dragon Leopold. The modeler worked on it till 2 AM the day of the contest.
Here's a few pics of my M35 recovery truck:
I didn't weather the truck mostly because I plan to use it in a diorama with Verlinden's Blacksmith shop.

It's a truck ...good..It's a recovery vehicle..good.... It is a different variation that has not been seen on Armorama to my knowledge very very good. Great build and congrats on placing second. It's a first place here!!

Thanks for the kind comments guys.
I didn't take pics at the contest. I called the hobby shop today and there were some pictures taken. I have been promised a copy of the Leopold diarama pic and will post it here as soon as I get it.
Ken I just put 3 slightly larger shots in my gallery. Wow, the flaws really show when the pictures get bigger.

Very nice truck cfbush2000. I like the unusual versions and this is one I have never seen before. Its strange also in the fact that it has double wheels front and middle and single on the back. Must have been hell to steer! The cables to the boom arm seem abit slack... but otherwise excellent. And as Animal said

Quite right. Congrats on your well deserved placement!! It's a first place here!!
