Hi guys,
it's been a while.....
I am hoping to get the buildingbuzz going again and I need some parts for a stalled project.
I am working on a North Vietnamese T-54 (the early Trumpeter one), but I need a number of parts to get it going again.
First I need a set of tracks + matching idlers. Lost mine in a swap somehow.... *edit* If possible tracks that are better than the original ones....
I also need a new turretroof MG, because the kitversion is horrible.
I know I ask a lot, but....
Anyone out there who can help me??
Thanks
Ron

LOL and here we meet again, only difference is that you're in Sweden now?!?!?!

I still have the tracks, idlers and drive sprocket of the Trumpeter T55 Finnish with KMT mine roller left if that would work?

Also, I have a MiniHobbyModels knockoff of the old Tamiya T72M1 with the machine gun left. I don't know if this would work?

Tamiya machine gun does not work, unfortunately. I could give You a machinegun from a Trumpeter t-62. Its not perfect but close enough I guess

Hi Christian,
yep, I live in Sweden now.
And I really don't mean to be rude or ungratefull, but if memory serves me well, I remember these tracks being awfull and useless. I was hoping for someone to have a spares of a bit better quality...
@ Arpad; I do not see a turretroof MG in Trumpeter's T-62 spruepictures? But if it is better than the T-54 MG than I am interested!
Thanks for the offers, guys!!

Ron, the t-54/55 and the t-62 have the same AA machinegun, the Dskh. The two tanks have slightly different mounts for the machinegun. If You are still interested, send me a PM with Your adress and I will ship it when I have time...

Digging through some boxes I refound my Tamiyatracks!
I had these all along, but had misplaced and forgotten them... (insert shamefull emoticon here) I also found the Trumpeteridlers and was immediately reminded of the problem I had. These 2 don't match.
So all I need is a pair of Tamiya-idlers to complete the set!
Anyone??
@Arpad; I do have Trumpeter's MG, but I think the quality of the kitpiece is very poor, so I was hoping to replace it with a better one.
