I think what makes next week's Pompeii even more interesting is the fact that it was supposed to have happened during the construction of the Colliseum. I really hope that we can look forward to more of thesesort of drama/documentaries, perhaps in place of so many natural world documentaries, which although I do find interesting, are a bit 'samey'?

I just read through this thread. Being here on the left side of the Atlantic and always interested in learning new things, just what is the perjoritive meaning of being called a Wally?

I suspect in a year or two our Publlic Broadcasting System will pick up this series of programs, er, programmes, as you folks would say.

its slang for idiot or there abouts. Enough said about it though. i will also be watching pompei next week and hopefully it will be of the same standard as the last documentry.
