What material do you use to heat the model to be able to bend it? I tried using a candle but the model remains still and also, I find it dangerous. How bout a hair blower? Will it work? I have a kit here that is VERY VERY BADLY engineered. I need to reheat it to bend to the right position. Thanks!

You have to be careful with what heat you use. Candles as you found are out. Hair dryer may work. Try hot water. Get a pot of water on the stove and heat it up and give your part a bath. This method applys the heat in as uniform as possible.

Shonen,

most of us, I think, use warm water to correct parts that are bent, torked,... It is a lot safer to use (it doesn't melt your model, doesn't burn down the house, but can be hot for the fingers tough..), it is the only thing to correct resin parts as far as I know...

so just heat up some water and give it a try...

Hi Shonen

I don't think any method is guaranteed to work or 100% safe!

If a part's really distorted write to the manufacturers/distributors for a replacement.

If the whole kit is bad - write a review and let everyone benefit from your experience!

... then ask for your money back! :-)

all the best

Thanks! I'll DEFINITELY write the bad thing about this model. Wait for it in a few weeks.
