So is it just a Coupon or is Hobby lobby having the actual sell?

You need to present the coupon to the checkout person at the register.
I just dropped a cool hundred. Got 200 bucks worth of kits. I am nuts.

Howdy all,

...to possibly expand on DavHowell's question.....usually Hobby Lobby actually prints a sheet full of coupon offering's showing their ongoing sale's.....is that what they're doing, or are they trying somethingnew by restricting the sale to Internet printed coupon's only??

Tread out.

Hi guys, I was in there today and there is no in store coupons or 1/2 price signs like usual. I presented my internet coupon to the cashier and got a Tamyiya sherman 105 for $18.00 and a Tamiya Marder III for $18.50. Works like a charm.

It's an internet-coupon-only special. Not advertised in the flyer. They've done this before -- seem to do it every few months or so.

I find it a great way to stock up on a few kits -- kinda depends on HL's very variable stock. I once picked up the Tamiya Dragon Wagon (tractor-only kit) for about $35. Tamiya jeeps are just a few dollars with the coupon -- and everyone knows you can't have too many jeeps!

I need to get down there -- last visit they had a few Tamiya M20 armored car kits, plus some DML figure sets.

You can sign up on their website, I think, and they will email you the internet special of the week on Sunday afternoon. I think my wife signed us up. Anywho, it beats trying to remember to check every week and I don't get spammed, just one email a week...

All they had were autos and airplanes. Told me that they get what they get and check after Christmas. I wonder if different Michaels stores have different kits. There wasn't a single armor kit.

Sealhead,
Are you sure you are looking at Hobby Lobby and not MIcheals? I know the MIcheals in my area only carry cars and a few airplanes, but Hobby Lobby also carries Tamyia kits and lots of tanks, ships, and various other kits. Using the internet coupons I bought a Tamiya KIng Tiger (the one with the 3 figures and motorcycle) for $25 bucks, and a 1/350 Bismark (micromaster?) for $20 bucks. I had my girlfriend go throught the line with one kit and a coupon because I did'nt know if it was a limit of one per customer.
