mobile! um next week i will finish the lower half, then it goes to a buddy that going to install the sound and light unit for me.
then i will test drive it. after that the roofs and snozzle gets started

You are a prolific builder with some unusual builds !!! I really like the Kenworth Military Tanker !!!!!! I am more keen on the hard worked military and civil trucks rather than the custom show trucks ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but that is just my preference !!!!!!

alright , greg finished the installation of the sound and light kit
i fixed the probelm with the tires wanting to buckle. there perfect now
i changed the steering knuckles to alum and i put alum stiffner on the 2nd axle
from what i can tell chassis is all good , wahoo!
the tank box is done and painted, water tank is in stalled with electronics and pumer is working.
the truck and electronics run on a 11.1 lipo . had to order a new charger. as soon as i get it . i can make a video of it.
next is to finish up some detail. then i can get started on the snozzle

its been awhile, but here we go again. i ready and i have the itches for it lol
most of the light are working, still have a few more to hook up.

today i some time to work on her
i built the main support for the book. it will mount directly to the frame. this should be stridy enought for what im doing with it. i couldnt make it a solid peice, as everything has to be able to come apart .

wahoo! the actuator cam in and have to say ,its perfect for what im looking for
i made the main joint cup, the 1st lower boom is 278mm long, then the knuckle and then the main boom , which is 580mm long
i mounted the actuator too. i still have quite few parts to make still. but i figure i show some pictures

small update
i received in nother batch of micro screws and wow was a difference it makes
i started with the sides of the topper and the floor
also added some to the top of the engine compartment

felt like working with plastic today, so i started on the topper for the boom compartment
again, every truck i look at is alittle different. so im going to combine what i saw from each one. 1st theres the main topper, then i made a removable top plate on top that. the plate has 32 micro screws in it
so the basics is done for it. i figure i show you a before shot , tomorrow i will sand, prime and paint

Is the Perch the tool that they spear through the air-frame and jet the fire suppressant directly into the hot-spots ??????
I presume that if the hot-spot was the row of seats you happened to be sitting at then by the time they have speared the air-frame you are going to be far from worried about getting jet blasted.
Will you be making up a mock airframe with a gas burner to practice hosing down with the Osh ?????
