Hi everyone:

Well, the fan on my spray booth broke so I found myself at a local store here in Milwaukee called "American Science & Surplus". I found what I needed to fix the spray booth, and then spent some time looking around the store for other things that might be good for the hobby.

I went over to their wire section and found a wonderful array of gauges and types. I know I've seen alot of posts about people using the copper strands in telephone wire. Well they had stuff called magnetic wire (for electronics I'm sure) that had to be thinner than a human hair. The stuff was awesome. I could immediately see a ton of uses for it. I bought several feet of that along with some slightly thicker varieties. The best part of it is that I now have over 18 feet of various model friendly gauged wire and it only cost me 36 cents.

Maybe I've discovered something that is old news to all of you, but if it isn't then I would recommend you go out and get yourself some. Hope this helps.

John
