Where do you peeps buy models online? Just wondering because it's pretty hard to find online shops with low prices, easy navigation and good service. #:-)

If you are looking for Japanese kits, Hobby Link Japan is a good place. Prices are low (at least compared with Swedish prices) and I have always got good service from them.

I never bought anything online because never found a real online shopt. What I saw until now were shops which have an online method of sales. All of them have weak points showing an offline merchant philosophy beeing the most frequent the absence of clear postage costs.

Anyway, if I would buy online I guess I would choose Hannants (http://www.hannants.co.uk) taking in mind that I would exclude out of Europe shopts, because of customs.

ThomasB, a link would be nice.

For Eastern European kits, I like dealing with HobbyTerra
www.hobbyterra.com. Their prices for Roden kits are unbeatable, as well as A-Model (invest in sandpaper stocks!).

I've also dealt with GP Hobby (www.gphobby.krakow.pl). They have excellent prices on the Polish produced stuff.

Hope these help,
Mika

Like ModelCitizen, I can recommend Great Models :-)

I've bought several things and had good service. They also do some nice prices on "pre-orders" i.e. stuff that's not released yet.

All the best

I have bought stuff from Hometown Hobbies and Hannants online and have been pleased with the service from both. VLS and Squadron are good also, but I usually just phone in orders to them.

I'm a firm believer in Squadron Mail Order (www.squadron.com). May cost a buck or so more than some places, but service is great and their stock is huge. They also have some great deals on both their flyer and internet specials.
