Am back on line, sort of. Surgury went ok, had a few complications. The Doc said my innards looked full of scar tissue, possibly from the acid reflux, cause I havn't had any operstions before. Am a little sore, mostly my back from layin/sitting in bed. Am gonna go outside tomorrow to get some air. Eating broth, pudding and applesauce is gonna get old real quick. Id settle for an MRE right now! Hey gotta go and lay down, the druga are kickin in. The doc shoul NEVER tell a sailor not to mix alcohol and narcotics, cause you know we will try it! Just foolin, he's a good doc, an Airforce Major. Will chin-wag later. Thanks for the prayers! The coffee is on and the grill is standing by!

Howdy Chief, glad your back with us, and the surgery went OK. As far as scar tissue, don't worry about it, I hear the ladies think it's real 'macho' Hell, I'm pratically covered with it, on the outside!
Ya know, when I was 'in', some of the toughest bird's I knew (outside of other jarheads that is ) were Navy chief's! No kiddin'. Actually, Chief's and SeaBee's (oldschool).
You take care, and if the nurse asks you about mixing alcohol and narcotics just tell her you need something to wash it all down with!!!

Get well soon Chief. Airforce doc working on a Navy guy HMMM that is different.I alllways thought the Navy had the best doctors. well you take care and no not drink anything but water with narcs.

Glad to have you back and good to hear that the surgery went well. I know that sore feeling as I spend way too much time sitting or laying on my back. I really need to get out and get some excercise (I have been saying this for years).
