I had to restore the site's backup from yesterday, as we had a database glitch while working in one of our management tools that somehow resulted in a loss of data. So sadly anything posted here in the past 17 hours or so is gone.
My apologies on this but it could not be avoided.
Best wishes,
Jim

It looks like it's only 5 hours, but still...
Steffen,
I was in PHPmyadmin and noted 2 rows in the user/groups association table that seemed wrong, when I selected them and hit the delete icon next to one of the selected rows (which should have only deleted that one), but when the table refreshed it was on the structure page and the table was empty. Bad glitch...

The cut-off time is before 08:30 German Time. My uploads from that time are missing
Back in the old days when an SysOp made wrong use of the root we always blamed it on a random DOS user. What are SysOps using this days as sacrifice to the /dev/null??

I just noted that certain files I was working on yesterday are older as well. I was unaware of this but apparently our incremental file backup must be an ongoing thing and not all done at one time as the file is from yesterday afternoon and not 5+ hrs ago (like the database backup).
Luckily for me there is only 30 minutes of work to recreate.
Any file/photo uploads from yesterday may need to be re-uploaded as well. Or deleted and re-uploaded if you have dreaded red-x's in your gallery.
Thanks,
Jim

Doh... yes I was not looking at the AM/PM times on the latest post page too well. It's 17 hours between posts.
FYI the file restore/re-write is still running as well.

And here's me thinking my posts had been deleted because I'm a bit of a smart-a**.
Jim, you sure this didn't have anything to do with a drunken hillbilly from down under named AussieReg?

Hi Jim,
Do we have a chance to get the lost data after restore?if so I will wait to re-add a blown-up review and a few forum posts. meanwhile, I will keep praying for the return of the review.
best regards
Engin

Engin - Sorry afraid not. What's there is what was there at about midnight London time as of the 21st.
Rudi - Yes 17 hours. I originally put 10 but amended the first post when I realized it was 17.

Cheers,
Jim
