I need a hand changing the picture viewer accociation in windows 98. I used to have an editing program called LView Pro....it was a trial version which i don't use anymore....well, something told windows to open Lview everytime i try to open a photo.....of course this doens't work since the program is GONE !
SO, I need help to change the setting back to windows' own viewer.

It's been a while since I've used Windows 98 but there should be an "Open With" option if you hold down the Shift key and then right click on the picture file you want to open. From there you can choose what program you want to use to open this particular file type. Then I think you should also have a choice (check box) to always open it that way.

If I am wrong then you can always create a new file association. Check out this Microsoft page on file association for some pointers.
