Kit: No. 58737625457A
Scale: 1/48
Manufacturer: Frail Sloop, 799 E. Main St., Stuckeyville, PR 85564, www.gotchadinti.com
Price: n/a
Comments: Injection-molded plastic, 87 parts, molded in color, snap-fit construction
Pros: Easy to build, easy to modify, easy to disassemble
Cons: Color scheme is questionable, some parts too thick for the scale

The contribution of the Snapworth Aerosaurus to aviation history was crucial. Without it, today's aircraft wouldn't look as good as they do. The prototype first lifted off the ground (with a crane), at Helm's Deep, Rohan, April 1, 1915.

Where can a get the PE for it? Are there any other camoflage patterns that this particular aircraft used during it's service?
It actually looks like the new fighters the Canadian government is looking at for purchase!

Dang...my daughter has a set of mega-blocks like that. We lack a good propeller though.

A damn shame really. I am forced to build only jets.

Do the feet actually move to help it off the ground? Also, can they be fitted with boots for wet runways? :-)

Tamiya has released a set of rigging wires and Moskit is doing exhausts and perforated gun barrels.

Linden hill announced a 27 page set of decals and WWP and AJ Press are doing walk-around books.

Am Tech has bought the molds and will do the B and E nosed versions as well as the flying laser lab.

Hasegawa is reboxing it for the Japanese home market with special edition commemorative decals and a sprue of ordiance and pilot figures.

Mmm, after a very long observation of the kit, even if I'm not an expert in planes, I came to the conclusion that's quite an accurate model but... where are the tracks?

Fabio, sorry. The version you see there was the production variant.
There was a little known "Paper Panzer Plane" developed shortly after the roll out.
This proposed Paper Panzer Plane Possibility was to have tracks, how ever, since track shoes would have increased headaches in the quartermaster supply chain, the version remanined a one off, what if.
The only plastic mock up is said to be on a pedestal at the entrance to Italeri World Headquarters.Do you think you could go look and find it?
Despite this, rumor has it,Trumpeteer will produce the Paper Panzer Plane variant, with the ammo loading vehicle too!!!!

Overall, looks like a fun kit... You'd think they would do something about those ejection pin marks all over the wings, tho... #:-) (++)
