Hi Everybody,
We are a UK supplier of inkjet and laser water-slide decal papers. We have many customers who are model makers and builders. We were wondering if and how we could hold a competition on this forum with the prize being some products. Or could we find somebody who would test the products and then write a review for this forum. Would any of this be possible and am I in the right place. Thank you in advance
Charlotte

Hi Charlotte

I reviewed a pair of Crafty Computer Paper's Ink-Jet Decal Systems a couple of years ago. I found them very useful, so it be great to know if there have been further developments since then. A competition of some sort sounds a very interesting idea.

All the best

Rowan

Hi Rowan
Good to hear from you again, I think I remember you testing the water-slide decal paper. I think you only used the water-slide. We do have dry rub off decal paper which works in a similar way but you do not have to spray them and they are a 2 part decal paper. You have a printing sheet and an ahesive sheet, they have been good for model makers too. They can take a little longer to get the head around how to use them at first, but once you have tried them they are very easy to use. What sort of comp would you like, we can offer
1 pack of 10 white inkjet water-slide decal paper or laser if the winner has a laser printer
1 pack of 10 clear inkjet water-slide decal paper
1 pack of 5 sets of white dry rub off decal paper, you can use this in a laser and an inkjet printer
1 pack of 5 sets of clear dry rub off decal paper.
Or
We could give you a voucher for an amount say 50 so they can choose what they would like from the site.
Look forward to hearing from you soon
Charlotte

I've used Crafty's stuff for a few years now, both for decals and their prinatable cotton paper for 1/6 scale uniform insignia. Top products, and great to deal with. This is my Valentine using Crafty's decals: http://www.track48.com/shop/xnews.php?newsid=201. Both their water slide and dry rub stuff works great, especially the dry rub decals are doddle to use.
