Have you tried TradeMe ? There's usually as much as you'll find in your local hobby shop on there these days and you can pick up some cheap stuff from time to time depending on what you're into and you'll probably find anyone from here would chuck it on there first anyway.

Have you considered coming along to and joining the local IPMS club, some kits regularly turn up at meetings at a good/fair price. There is a link on this web site or I can give you details.
