Seriously , it is HOT in California right now and it's gotta be 100 degrees where I am, this is one time when I tell you "I'm sizziling!" and I really am!
Anyway we've got an outstanding update today,
From Canada we present a 1/48th scale CF -104
From Italy a STAR DESTROYER from Star Wars
From Australia Part 7 of our scratch built HMAS Sydney update
Come on over and enjoy, and bring sun screen!

Quick modeleing tip, this is a good day to decal - just place your decal on and it's dry in thirty seconds! Keep it out in the sun a little longer and your model will melt!

Looking good. Nice collection of info there.

Geo, by any chance, do you know what colors John Cina used on the Halftrack camo?

Ken, I hope it's Ken,
I just spoke with John regarding his painting of the halftracks and here is what he told me:
He used all Tamiya acrylics and used black as an overall base coat, then he painted straight Olive Drab and Africa Yellow in the pattern. He then shaded those colors by using black and white as a tint added to the Olive Drab or Africa Yellow producing different shades to lightly spray over the base colors.
I hope I got it right and passed it on right.
