I doubt many of the kids these days (boy does saying that make me feel old!) know who Asterix is, but 29 October was the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Asterix comics

No worries - hey, you should be able to find them on Amazon. I see they've released a few newer ones since Asterix and Son.

Happy Birthday Asterix!
His adventures were significant part of my childhood... (not as big part as Kajko's and Kokosz's adventures but still big).
I keep few boox with adventures of Asterix and Obelix for my son - I hope he will appreciate them as much as I did .

I have them all!
Not the original ones I once had... These have been read to shreds... , but a bound, hardback-serie.
And I still do read them, as does my son....
