My local hobby shop has the 2" Hold n Fold in stock, and I was wondering if it's worth it or should I get on the 2 month wait for the 4" version?
Thank you for your help.

I have the Etchmate and find that since I do lots of long folds ( Panther fenders/skirt hangers, Pz IV fenders, etc..) I find the longer length is of great use to me.

For general folding accessories and parts, I do not need or use all of the differnt sized 'finger' the folding head comes with.

My $0.02

I personally find the 4" model the best for me. The smaller one just seems to be a little unhandy for me.

I have the 4" H&F, works great. I think the 2" one would be a little too small for anything beyond 1/72 scale armor.

While the 2" will work with the smaller items you'll use, it just doesn't work too well with the larger items. You'll probably be fumbling with the 2" version.
I would have to say to wait for the 4" version. You'll be glad you did.

I read the recent review of the H&F against the Etchmate. Thought it was great. Seemed that the H&F cam out tops, has anybody tried both and have a preference?

I have the 4" H&F also and like it. I have never tried any other size, but the reason I got the 4" is the larger ones seemed like they may be a little to cumbersome to work with, and the smaller ones didn't seem like they would have enough weight to be real stable when using it. Just a theory.
