Welcome aboard Chingwalla. I am going to ask a favor and this is not some smart ass question. I see you listed yourself as Yorkshire. Do you know how to make Yorkshire pudding and if so please send me the recipe. Just go to the profile section and it will give you my email address.

Hi,

Once again I'm not a Yorkshire man, I married a Yorkshire Lass! I'm a Cornishman (Bude North Cornwall)

From Monday the 14th I will be in hospital so apologies in advance for not being able to reply but watch this space!

Regards,

Steve D

The saying about Yorkshiremen is it what everybody else says about scots?
I.e - deep pockets , short arms?

Hi,
I must admit the "Lord of the Rings" models are the ones I have been impressed with.

Lord of the Rings models? They have Lord of the Rings models? As in like, real models? Not just miniatures? ..These are real models? I've been wanting to get my hands on LoTR models for a while now.

By the way, welcome to the armorama community! hehehehehehehehehehehe .. I love roleplaying games, and used to paint miniatures a lot. Had an entire skaven army and elven army (not warhammer 4000 - regular warhammer) I had worked on a few years ago, wish I still had them, but had to sell them when finances were getting rough.

Hi,

To take my mind off the visit to hospital thought I would add a few more lines..... Assuming that you all photograph your models and post them on this site... What camera do you swear by is it the trusted 35mm or, have you gone digital? I bought a Ricoh RR3 caplio and I'm very impressed with the results - it has a macro focus down to 1cm, I will do my best and try and photograph some of my finished models this morning and post them..

Ahhh....

Having just read the instructions (who does) I have to find a host to upload the images this may take a little longer, so I'm going to concentrate on the photo's this morning (BST) and worry about the host later. Any help with this, as to the best or the easiest will be gratefully excepted!

:-) Steve, you can host your pics on the Armorama MSN site (assuming there are albums available).
A tip. If you have photo editing software that is capable of "saving for the web", use it. I do and can get close to a hundred pics for my 3mb. You might want to check out the UK armorama site, you can host you pics there. :-)

Hi Blaster76,

I dare not publish any details of Yorkshire Pudding recipies on here, as it would then become a cookery club and I do not think that's what it's all about. Please use the search engine "Google.co.uk" and I'm sure you'll find hint's on creating the best "pudding" in the US of A!

Hi Everyone,

Can members in the UK point me in the right direction for acrylic paint suppliers either internet based or postal would be fine, as I'm a bit dissapointed in price I'm paying now (£1.75 small pot)

Steve
