I was wondering if anyone has used that wearthering technique yet. Im going to try it on my IDF M113, i just wanted to see if anyone has tried it yet or not.

I did quick test on a spare vacuform wing. For a first attempt the result wasn't bad at all! I basically follwed the instructions, but I didn't scrub off the salt, because I thought the scratching would be a bit OTT. It's definitely worth a try.

I've just tried this technique with amazing results on the interior of the canopy of a bf109e-7 trop ... I must recommend this to all of those who seek good chipping +WEATHERING. Yes, the salt appears to absorb some of the pigments or mix some of its sodium with the paint so that the final work looks weathered and lighter than the original color. I dont have a camera but, believe me .. it is worth trying this.

I did it on a panzerII, unfortunately I didn't use enough salt...but it looks great.
