I was trying to find a post of this same topic that I saw but I donīt found it. Also I failed in posting the images so Iīll try again.
This is what I do to disolay my models. I use wood for the base and acrylic for the cover.

You need to use the url tags to convert it to a live link, or the img tag to show your image. Not all web services allow remote image viewing though. Here's your link fixed:

Superb job by the way.

Nice cases, when you say you use acrylics, could you be a little more specific, what exactly do you mean by acrylics. Is it expensive to get the glass case made?

Thanks

Nice models

CSCH, these are really nice cases. Do you cut the acrylic sheets yourself or have someone professionally do it for you? If you cut them yourself then I would love to know how you do it. I started to experiment with making my own cases and find cutting acrylic tricky.

Thank you ModlrMike.
When I talk about acrylic itīs simple acrylic. I think that this plastic material is the same in all the world. I donīt cut it, here in my countrie there are a lot of shops where they make things in acrylic. You just have to give them the measures and the description of what you want and thatīs all. Here a cover like these ones cost about u$s 7.- I do the bases with wood and then I paint them and make the ground simulation. The thickness of the acrylic is 2,4mm, this is a standard measure and works well for these sizes.
