Wow alot of great work guys, I really appriciate all the hard work put into everyones drawings! Mark and Darren - GREAT work! I really like what you have done! I have been so involved with all the details of getting this business going that I was totally stuck on the logo rework.....thanks again for all your efforts! It will be hard to choose who did the best work as they all are great, I will have to put alot of thought into this matter.

I have an idea which way I am going, however since I am leaving it open till the end of this month I will wait and see if there are any other ideas that pop up.

Thanks again everyone who has posted so far, great work and keep it up!

Matt I like it, it just needs some colour to attract the eye. Even that is an idea I had considered by using a brick text font or a brick wall with the company name in a graffiti text.

I like the brick wall because it goes with the diorama theme and incorporates what the company is actually about
Maybe Matts logo with a ruin or brick texture behind it?

Working off of Matts logo with a brick background
There is no compass because I am working with paint.net and the magic wand is not great but pretend its there

The brick background looks good. What would you think of a white compass shape? or, if you could 'magic wand' capture the one I used? I think a white solid compass would work well. Nice thought...the brick background. Good work.

And now for something completely different.
A train of thought.

I get the whole "hitting the mark" thing, but in my opinion, the first two would be more suitable for a bowling alley and not a diorama company. The last one looks good though and really all look like professional designs.

That is correct, it was just a train of thought I was following, and that is why I dropped those features as I progressed. the train of thought followed "what is typically American" what do I think of when I think of America" "what is required". I also save all the bits and pieces I use as .PNG files so that they can be placed over a page without obscuring the content on the page. Ideally I would use a backdrop of one of the products.

I like the thinking outside the box! Very creative.

Thanks again to everyone who has worked on this project!

I need to speed up the final logo sooner that expected to get it in to the printers, so on that note I will have to close the logo design chalange tomarrow around noon.
I will anounce the winning logo at that time.......The person whos logo gets picked will get a free kit as soon as production starts up!

Thanks, Chris. It was fun doing this with everyone. There should be more of this kind of 'group think.' This is the experience that you can't get anywhere but here-the best modelers with lots of experience. We are all truly amongst friends.

Congratulations, Darren.
Thanks,
Matt

Thank you Chris and while your offer was not needed for us to have a crack at this it was generous. Well done Matt, it looks like teamwork won the day.

You do some very fine graphic work. I agree, that a prize was not needed to work on this project...it was fun. I will take a photo of my jump wings and send it to you. Good work that you showed.
