I found a source of styrene skid plating. Not sure of how much this stuff should go for and what is a good deal but one of my local shops carries some stuff by Don Mills Models. The cost was $5.95 for two 4" X 8" white styrene sheets. Looks like it's made locally here in Massachusetts and there's an e-mail address of [email protected] .

Hi Sabot
I'm always on the lookout for textured plastic and the like. What scale would Don Mills' be suitable for?
All the best

I imagine it would be good for both 1/35 as well as 1/24-1/25 scale cars. I did plan to try the foil method someone on here posted about. Rub some foil on the sheets to get an imprint and then super glue to the surface.
