Anyone get the new 3 DVD Black Hawk Down yet?

I really have to have this. It says it has three separate commentaries by the director (Ridley Scott), writer of the book (Mark Bowden), and maybe coolest of all Rangers who were there.

There are also deleted scenes, the two hour History Channel documentary, a Frontline documentary, and a bunch of other stuff.

Since this is one of my top ten favorite films (I think it is a remarkable pice of craftsmanship no matter how accurate it is) I think it's worth the $30 price tag.

But, I do want to go to Best Buy and see if it's a bit cheaper than WalMart.

I didn't even know it existed, sounds really neat, though.

call up dvdplanet on the internet. You can probably get it even cheaper than Walmart or Best Buy. If you have enough patience, wait until someone decides to sell it used on Ebay or Amazon

On a related note. I just finished reading "In the Company of Hero's: A True Story" by Michael J. Durant, Steven Hartov. A first person follow-up to Blackhawk Down and truly a gripping read, I couldn't put it down.

Highly recommended!
