How is the Tamiya Pz IVJ? Is the side armor as thick as it was on the earlier kits? That would be my pick, as long as the armor wasn't too thick or if I could get Aber PE armor.

Work on the Kingfisher has begun even though I'm waiting on an engine and the corrected floats. I've just finished a 1/25 Jagdtiger so the way is open to begin the PzKpfw IV. I have eduard side skirts and pe details as well as DML individual link tracks on the way.

Looks like the Pz IV w/PE would have won...you from Florida?

Actually Rob I'd envisioned doing an aircraft and an armor build from the beginning. Jeez you don't expect me to just work on 1 project at a time do you?

Could I say a korean war colorful F84E...? Or a Sherman M4A1, in Manilla 45...? Or a mini Guntruck M37 next to an old french Indochina war bunker...? Or an AT-ST.......Ahem !

Treadheads will be happy to learn that the p.e. sets arrived the other day and work (and photos) has begun on the PzKpfw IV. The Kingfisher resin interior is finished and installed-photos also in the camera........Mike
