i took a chance on Tamiya's Jagdtiger kit, #35295-5000. it does have two kinds of tracks, rubber band and combination segmented and individual link types. they added some nice painting guides and a single sheet pictorial of a real one. but these are low or no cost fluff. while there are lots of parts and i think it will build into a good looking kit, as others have said about Tamiya, a premium price for a kit that includes no photo etch, no metal barrel, plastic tow cables, etc.
it was much more expensive than the Dragon Jagdtiger kit, #6351. this kit has two photo etch frets, metal tow cable, lots of clear port and periscope parts, and a metal barrel.
i think this will be my last new Tamiya kit.
