In celebration of my 1000th post (phew) I want to say to all who have participated in this muti-faceted-model-place of quests for knowledge...
"Thanks for making these past few months some of the most enjoyable I've had in this wonderful hobby of ours!"
I love to learn. My thirst for knowledge in all things: models, tips, tricks, kits, histories, etc, etc...has truly been quenched by all of you terrific people. I have discovered more in the short time I've been a part of this site, than I have in all my time building models!!!
Thanks for making this hobby so much more fun.

And a special thanks to Jim for making it all possible! Your site has opened a whole new dimension to my own personal and also shared favorite pass time!

I never would have thought I would make that many posts. This is just too much fun!
See you all through the next thousand! :-)

Now......ATTENTION!!! (stand tall and straight, eyes straight ahead looking a thousand yards away, chest up and out, chin level, hands at your sides along your trouser seams, feet at a slight angle, knees not locked, shoulders back........O.K. .........

My choice would be either the Star Wars theme, or the Imperial March!!! Or, possibly the Throne Room music from ANH.

Actually, Vader's theme is pretty much the same as the Imperial March. While we're on the topic of the March, would anyone else consider that an acceptable substitute to 'here comes the bride' at a wedding? I've been meaning to ask that to my brother's fiance, but I'm afraid of getting clobbered!!! :-) :-)

Scarier thing would be that his fiancee actually liked the theme! better than the Wedding March...

If the March was used, I think it would call for a slightly different wedding outfit......

Another reason to love this Forum! If we deleted all off-topic posts - there would be little charm here. Who wants another boring, antiseptic, modeling board anyway - when there's so many other already out there that do a better job

Hmmm. I misspelled 'glad'. That could've been inturpreted as 'galled' too, which in that case would've been very bad. Oops, more spelling errors in the previous sentance. (did I just do it again?) OK, time for my quote. Even if the statement is redundant.

I apologise for any blatantly obvious spelling errors.

YodaMan - my bad, should have realized Imperial March and Vader's theme were the same. oops.

I would definitely refrain from suggesting that as an optional wedding march unless she has a tremendously good sense of humor.

- Paul

ps. Don't know if it's intentional or not, but did you know that apologize in your sig line is misspelled?
