Been lurking around the site for a long time and thought I'd finally sign up and join the fun. I've been modelling since I was a kid (with a few wee breaks in between now and then) and currently focus on 1/35 and 54mm dioramas and vignettes. I use a weird funky mesh of techniques by Shepard Paine and Ray Anderson (whose books in the 80's got me started in the diorama scene.) You can say my dioramas are mainly figure-centric showing historical, literary, or other scenes. I am, however, a WWII and overall military history nut, and still get a kick out of military modelling.
Anyway...I've learned a lot from browsing the site and hope to be able to give something back. The members here seem to be a great group and I'm looking forward to contributing...well...something!
