Have a look at this site. There are some good Soviet/Afghan armor pics in Group 38, and some neat pics of MI-8s, C17s, BM21s, Apaches, and Chinooks in some of the other groups. Also a neat site if you are wondering what Afghanistan really looks like right now.

Nice find Arengca! It would make a good "bookmark" for all you modern arms modelers.
Good reference photos.

Actually, I can't take much credit for finding the link. It was posted on the AFV News forum, and I thought it would be appreciated here. There are some incredible shots of BMPs and T55s (apparently from back in 99, but possibly by someone who didn't set the date on their camera right!) in there, some with unusual modifications. I like the BMP with the BM-12 rocket launcher mounted on top. It would make an interesting subject for a project.

On a lighter note, try this link. Those with time in a tree suit (and other dress-code organizations, too) will appreciate the humor. How many have you done, or been warned not to do? WARNING: The eating and drinking caution is serious! I'm still cleaning Coke spots off of my monitor. DO NOT have anything in your mouth as you read!!
