Dear boffins.
I am having problems deleting images from my gallery.
I sign in as per usual, click on an image I would like to discard and delete it. The sign comes up to say image has been deleted but when I return to my gallery it's still there and when I click on it again, it now says 'I do not have permission for this action' even though I am still logged on as me in my gallery. I've tried exiting and revisiting site and gallery numerous times but it is still the same.
This situation has been evident for the last few times I've tried over the last month or two.
I first put it down to site maintenance or overhaul etc.
At one point I had someone elses images of a tanks dio in my gallery after the I do not have permission thing and when I exited and returned they had gone.
Nice dio but curious all the same.

Please help.

Many thanks
Peter

I wish I could help with the deleting problem, but can't.
But you sure do have a nice gallery.

Hi Dave.
Many thanks for the moral support.
(and nice to hear from you- it's nice to know someone cares..lol)

But I wonder when one of the backroom staff will respond?
Probably sleeping off the night(s) before in the Cyber bar 'Backroom staff and Boffins' bi-annual bash. Sleeping under tables is not good for you

Cheers
Peter

It's like the Bat search light....

but contrary to popular belief, I do not know everything. Almost, but not quite everything...

If it requires anything in the gallery settings, that can only be done by JimS. (the real god around here. The staff are only demi-gods... )

Which image are you trying to delete Peter?

Thanks for the dash of mercy Henk.

Which images am I trying to delete? Well a few really, I was sort of planning a bit of weeding so to speak.

On the all-knowing theme...
Man sat at home.
Doorbell rings.
Man answers and opens door to find an encyclopedia salesman stood on the doorstep.

Salesman says 'Could I interest you in this marvellous 40 volume set of illustrated encylopedia. So much knowledge would be available to you and the entire family....'

Our man smiles and says as he shuts the door
'No thanks mate, the wife knows everything'

Sounds like it will be Uncle Jim then.
Cheers.
Peter

Hi Peter,
Can you give me the number of a specific image you are trying to delete? Then I can see what's what.

Thanks,
Jim
