Martin:
It's most commonly refered to as "superglue" and is sold under varous names. CA is shorty for the actual gule, cyno -something or another, I'm sure you'll get the right answer from someone else.
On plastics I still prefer good old model glue (some imes mixed with a little CA if I really need it to hold fast). But CA is really good for resin and photo etched items that won't react with regular model glue.

To finish Nate's thought, it is short for cyanoacrylate.

Thanks guys,
I thought it was super glue, but you never know with different brand names in different countries, and if your not sure its always better to ask.

Nate,
at the moment im building a diorama. What im thinking - and building is a behind the fromt line sort of thing, with a semi destroyed peasant house, couple of ww2 germans discussing a map, and a just forward of that a trench with a couple of guys on stag (sentry) duty. But i think my next diorama is going to involve a lot of cannibalism of figures to get what i want. Im thinking of a small dio that shows a russian commisar executing one unlucky soldier and a dead one lying beside him. Unfortunatelt it was a regular occurance. For the title - well i dont know - was thinking maybe either - "the commisar", "Summary Justice!" or maybe even "A Russian kangaroo Court". What do you think about the idea? and title?
As always any feedback is gratefullt received!!!!!!!!!
Regards
Martin

Martin:
Sounds pretty cool. Are you using mainly styrene (regualr palstic) or resin figures?

At first I thought you were doing a Southseas dio: "But i think my next diorama is going to involve a lot of cannibalism of figures"

i dont know to be honest, reckon there going to be plastic, easier to get hold of and as this is my first attempt at building them from scratch, i'll be able to afford the mistakes!!! still got to dream up the rest of the dio but the idea is there. Actually i have the bottom half of a tank commander from the tamiya kv1 that will do for half the commisar. i dont know i'll see whats available. Going to be trial and error i think. Ill keep you posted , but want to finish my current project first.
Regards
Martin
