I got an e-mail this morning inviting me to sign up at Swapey since they'd seen my "excellent model at aeroscale forum". Thing is, I've never posted at Aeroscale! These guys have been posting on several sites looking for participants. Some of their TOS look suspicious and this phishing e-mail confirms it for me.

I got one too. Looks stupid as hell. I did recognize a couple names on the site though. Guys who do really great work. Not sure if they are aware of how hoky this thing looks or not. I had some suspicions when reading it as it just didn't seem to have to right flow of words. Syntax I think its called...(I'm no english major ) Oh well back to building.

I think i that site is a scam of some sort. Call me paranoid...but the way the have been doin' business, posting all over the place with different thread names, plus all the hokey stuff in their fine print. Something is just not on the up and with them IMHO.

Im not sure where i saw the thread but in it swapey had i think a Pz kpw III listed as a tiger, now im a figure builder and not armour but even i know the difference between the two. What worries me is they claim to be Modellers and collectors but dont seem to know a lot about it.
