Bikes
MTX 50, CB125, RD250, RD350 I really went to toon on this one, all the special jets, reed valves and intakes I could get my hands on. And no power valve neither, me hearties! 80horses, smell that two stroke to its the smell of victory! , and a really boring GPZ500 which I took all over Europe on a long sabbatical.

Cars
MG 1300, I was 15 years old my auld man gave me £400 so I could do it up and sell it on so I could buy my first bike. I still want that car walnut dash, double carbs sweet. Ford Fiesta MK3 and currently a MK3 Golf GTI with 250,000 miles on the clock.
Change your oil today, don't leave it till tomorrow.

First car was a 1955 Plymouth Belvedere. Love those fins!!!!!!!

First bike was a 1968 Kawasaki 350 - bought it brand new at Erv's Cycle World in Kansas City, MO, Aug. 1968.

Currently have a 1995 Honda ACE 1100. Black with lots of chrome. Bad habit of adding more chrome goodies.
Next bike will probably be a VICTORY - they have a new look that I think is leading the pack right now. Just have a hard time parting with the Honda. It never has any problems. Old reliable.

My first car is a 1971 Plymouth Duster. My parents bought it new and it was passed onto me. I still have it and used it as a daily driver up until a couple years ago when I went to work overseas. I've kept this car through a wife and three kids and never plan on selling it! I might let one of my kids have it when I am gone!

"First" car... Inherited the family wagon, a 1979 powder blue VW Passat Station Wagon. Terrific surf mobile, loved going down to the beach with it and my mates... didn't need roof racks, could just drop the rear seat and slide in all the boards. Was also great to catch a snooze it...

My dad convinced me to sell it a year or so later to "upgrade" to a 1974 VW Beetle 1600 SP. What a great runner! Loved that damn car! LOL! Even carried a bag of cement in the forward luggage bay to weigh the nose down. Managed to fit 7 rugby player sized guys in it after a piss up Even managed to to get it up to 130km/hr one day. fair enough, it was a down hill favourite party trick though was to take the key out the ignition when "flying" along the highway and hand it to a passenger in the back seat! ROFL Of course the stirrups were cool as well

Gawd I miss that car.

Eventually sold it after 5 years and bought a Toyota hatchback job. Very reliable, 4 doors, no maintenance.... also no character or fun...

I miss my Bug...

My first car was a 1963 Ford Falcon 4door sedan - needed a cushion to reach pedals - no seat belts -crossply tyres - looked almost new had it for 5mths -sideways into a powerpole
Boy what a great car - I never walked around the car to the drivers side just walked over the bonnet .Blue and very pale blue roof. Had 440 cortena then 1969 corrola then a 1991 Light Ace van -my first new car all the rest where jointly owned and driven mainly by wife as I rode a push bike - actually have a carbon fibre road bike now not quite the same as the motor bike but still my mid life crisis Purchase

Ah memories. My first car I got in 1969 and paid $750 to the 'Little Old Lady' who had kept in garage for a couple years and just wanted to sell it. It was a 1963 Chev Impala SS with a 327 and had less than 30,000 miles on it. 'Graduated' to a 1969 Chev Nova SS 350 two years later. Put in Muncie 4-speed, Edelbrock 'Tarantula' high rise, Holey 3310 double pump, Hooker headers, ET mags. A sweet ride, back when Premium gas was less than 50 cents a gallon. Oh well, back to reality and my 1996 Saturn 4 cyclinder.

My first car was a 1973 Chevy Monte Carlo with a 454. I sold it later and bought a 78 Trans-Am big block 400,t-tops electric blue with a silver bird. *sigh* Then I got married and the Trans-Am was sent away for something....."practical".

First bike - Suzuki GT250 - 18 months old bought with money I'd saved up while in the army. Passed my test on it, thrashed it unmercifully all over London & southern England(I lived there in the 70's & 80's). Traded up to an XS500 Yam - what a dog, now it's a "classic".
First Italian bike, Guzzi V50 - brand new, written off in accident @ two weeks old.
First big bike, also a Guzzi, 1972 V7 Sport, bought in 1982, still got it. Now has 950 engine in though!
First British bike 1964 Norton Atlas - a heap! Last year bought another 1966 Atlas, much better. Have also owned 250 Ducati(accelerated faster than stock RD250 Yam up to 85, fitted with Amal 30 mm carb with huge velocity stack), Royal Enfield Constellation (threw a rod @ 95 on M4, it had been rebuilt - but with all the original worn out bits!), couple of Triumphs, 650 Norton (13 years riding to work on it, clockwork reliable for 150,000 miles, then sold it for 3 times what I paid, now that's what I call cheap motoring!), 750 Commando, Velo Venom & Laverda Jota (very expensive to run & engine blew @ 95 in third - not even overrevving it, a previous owner had fitted odd pistons), & several MZs..
First car - 1978 Ausin Maxi - well it was my girlfriends (now wife). I finally had to learn to drive a car when my eldest daughter came along! My brother -in-law was working for a sign company & made stickers for the back which read 32 Valve Turbo Injection - yes he was joking!
