I've been thinking allot about what I consider myself. I sometimes think I'm a sculpture instead of a modeler because we mold the models into what we want them to look like.

Sanding, gap filling, painting etc.

But other times I consider myself a modeler or maybe both.

What do you think of yourself as.

I'm a sculpture. I use to think I was a bit of both, but I believe a modeler is more a painter and I,m not much good at painting.Which is kind of the pits, since both my degrees are in fine arts with the main foucus in painting. Matter of fact my latest posted work "Tommy Gun Terror" in HFM is painted in black and white. Didn't want the pain of mixing all those colors.

I think neither of you are sculptures but probably both are sculptors.
Sculptor= someone who creates a sculpture.

I for one feel like I wasted all that time in taking English classes.

Can't say i am a sculptor. I like to think of myself as a modeling historian. I build mostly USN and USAAC PTO WWII and I basically build so my friends and people i meet can look at these aircarft models, ask questions about them, but above all, not to forget.
