I built Monogram SBD's and the lot as a kid in the 1960's. Started up again in 2000 when I quit smoking (needed something to do with my hands!!!). ! build USN and USAAF WWII exclusively. Can't bring myself to build Axis aircraft - would crush them with my hands. Build a lot for WWII USN and USAAF veterans. Volunteer at VAMCU Mather. Professional Geologist in California. Love it most next to building. Uncle served on CV17 USS Randolph WWII as LSO. Father served in 14th USAAF-Chungking Mother was USN nurse-Long Beach CA.
