I am trying building a resin figure 1/16th. What I would like to know is how do you cut through the thick resin molds and how do you deal with the very delicate parts? BTW When I try and use a dremal teh dust is kind of scary

When you cut the big molds it is best to use a razor saw and finish it with a dremel.
The dust can not be avoided (that is resin for you) so ALWAYS wear a mask!.

What I mostly do is to sprinkle some water over the part sot that it is a bit wet, this reduces the amount of dust a bit, but still you will get dust.

Like Roadkill I use a razor saw or a rotor tool with a cutting disc, but I finish with files of different grains...

You can get ahold of a scalpel and trim the excess instead of using a dremel after you razor cut the chunks out. This is time consuming though and the difficulty of hold ing the piece, carving and trying not to slice yourself is difficult. So like most everybody else, I prefer the dremel. USe the scalpel on small pieces that need just a bit of trimming
