I have developed a very simple Excel-based tool for converting measurements take from photos to scale measurements for scratch-building.
I'll try to post it on this site as soon as I figure out how to do so. (Any hints as to how to post an Excel workbook here?)
Until then, I'll be happy to e-mail it to anyone who wants it.
Semper Fi,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Sounds intriguing. I'd appreciate an e-mail explaining the tool if you don't think you're going to be able to post it here.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks to all for your interest. I'll try to get the files e-mailed out this evening when I get home from work. After you have a chance to use the model, I'd really appreciate your feedback as to its' accuracy, usefulness, ease of use......as well as any suggestions for improvement.

Hi Dave
Thanks mate!
I got the email & the file loaded up okay! I have tried some paper excercises & it seems to work great!
I am (hopefully) going to commit to trying it out on a project (1/16th scale 1934 Zundapp Motorcycle) this week end, so I will let you know how I get on.
Regards
