What scale do you like best for aircraft/ armor/ infantry? What would be the best one?

That's a very broad personal question. A bit of it has to do with manufacturers also.
I personally think 1/35 is the scale to go with in armor. There are a wide variety of kits and you can really have fun with detailing them.
Aircraft is 1/48, there are a lot of kits and I like the detail that you can get in them.
Infantry - figures, wow , there is a broad range. I do a bunch of 1/35 to go with my AFV's, I have dabbled in large 120mm and that's fun.

I think it also depends on what you are planning on building. If you like to build large dioramas with many vehicles and figures then smaller scale may be in order. If you like a lot of details then 1:16 and up is your ticket. I personally find that 1:35 scale is perfect for me.

Just like women , I like em all Hmm quick shoulder check for my wife

As has been said it depends on the model etc.

You can find good quality models in all scales...

I wouldn't limit myself by scale...

Cheers, Michael

If you have sapace, for armor 1/35, for aircraft 1/48.
For figures I like 1/35 because I prefer to place the figures in the base where I put the model(armor) or make a dio.
I donīt like touse figures in my aircraft models.

I prefer my armor in 1/35, but I think the best scale for it (space wise) would have been 1/48. If you've ever built the old Bandai kits or Aurora kits in 1/48, they were the perfect mixture of size and detail (for that era). The added benefit was that the kits were compatible with 1/48 scale aircraft.

As most have said, 1:35 for armor. For my cars, I prefer 1:24/1:25. For my aircraft, I try to keep the craft about the same size. So I build mostly 1:72 for modern, and 1:48 for vintage. If I had room I would build 1:32 aircraft. There is just something about a huge bird that imparts the sheer power of these beasts to the viewer.

I would say it all depends on your eyesight (LOL). I love 1/72 armor, but just have a hard time with it now that I'm north of 50. So, 1/35 armor is my choice, not only because of the large amount of kits available, but for ease of construction.

I prefer 1/48 aircraft for the same reason, but admit there are a number of 1/72 scale aircraft in my stash that I'm dying to build. It comes down to space here. I'll get 1/48 aircraft, unless it's a large plane, like a transport or heavy bomber. I'll try to find the 1/72 scale version of those large ones.

For figures, I only really do them as accents to armor, so I concentrate on 1/35 scale.

Mike
