Hi

I'm relatively new here and I'm thinking about constructing a 1/35 scale German Afrika Korps medic in a diorama. I have ideas for the pose of the model, basically he's going to be running towards an injured soldier, but my main question is does anyone know where I could get good kit for the guy? I'm talking items such as medical pouches, canteens and so on.

Thanks.

Dragon makes a good set of medics.
With a little bit of converting it would be possible to make a DAK-setting.
None of them is running however..

Hi Jamie
I think your best bet is to buy Airfix Multipose Figures.
I have used them on my Iwo Jima dio and have built them a few years ago.
They come with pouches,water bottles,ammo pouches,packs etc.
Below are some i,ve done.

Only thing is they are 1/32 scale .

Here are the US Marine one's

Hope this was a help

I'm a big fan of Airfix multipose but they are in 1/32 and don't have any of the specific medical gear needed for a medic figure.
Better to get DML 6074 Medical Troops

or 6119 - FALLEN COMRADE (AACHEN 1944) and convert to DAK

or wait for the new DML Afrika Korps figures and cross kit with them.

PS you should have posted this in the figures forum- you'd get more replies
