We're at the sign up stage with this one too.

Have a kit that you just can't seem to finish????? Well maybe this will get you motivated to "get 'er done"

Get the Job Done

(one req't will be a pic prior to starting, to show that the build has been Started prior to the campaign starting)

Great campaign idea! I've got Revell's P-38 and Trumpeter's F107 that have been sidelined to make room for my newly discovered armor builds! Maybe that will change now.

How's this for a fancy twist, everyone posts photos of their various projects, and the other enlistees pick what one they'd like to see finished. Some of mine are recent starts, others have been on again off again projects over the years. Heck, I still have at least another 1/2 dozen in various stages of completion.

That could be a Optional twist for those that would like to do it that way.......

I do have 1 cross over between this and the "Pimp a Ride" one.... a '49 Ford that I was "smoothing" and considering chopping..............

Great idea.

What about those kits that constantly are placed at the top of your pile but always end in the background anyway. Will they count? I know this definition will basicly open up the campaign to anything but the newest kits. However, it is pretty open already....

Anyway, I am on for this one. I have plenty of kits that would fit into any category.

Id be up for this.
Ive got a Luftwaffe Pilot figure that I started at the end of last year and havent touched since January.
Every now and again I take it out of the box and have a look at it but I havent done anything on it for months.
This campaign could be just the motivation I need to get it finished.

I'll need to look through my photos, but many of the work bench shots have a M-47 in the back ground, It was the second or third model I started after joining the site.

Lots of chatter - but no one is enlisting? I hope this campaign does not 'go the way of the subject' and get started and fade to the backburner??

Whenever I click on the Campaigns tab on the Model Geek website, this campaign or Operation doesn't show up. Why is that?

I just enlisted and made it so there are now 10 participants. That should be enough right?

If so its time to blow the dust off of a kit that is buried in my closet!!

I will go sign in.

Question...Since my current campaign build will be stalled while I am waiting for a replacement interior , (If you are curious, check out my post from about 15 minutes ago under the Heart of Gold Campaign Forum). Can I do that one kit for both campaigns?

I will check my "I'll get back to you pile" for something interesting.

Matt, Matt, Matt.......dang it! Okay....got an A7V from waaaaay back (GOM will recognize it!) that needs a total new paint job....will this qualify? And, I'll add "homemade" decals for a "tweek." And finish the tracks.

If I can "toss" this one into the hat, so to speak, then I'm in. Otherwise the only other one that's STILL waiting on my lazy backside is my Polish Armored Car.....again, sound familiar GOM!?!?!?!?

Well Dave, unfortunately I don't have the best of "track records" for finishing things.

Maybe one? Hehehehheh! Regardless, it'll be neat to see some "before and after" with this one. I can only imagine the kits that are out there; sitting lonely upon some forgotten shelf, forlornly awaiting some glue and paint and maybe some (sniff) PE, yearning for the "once upon a time" bit of attention, hoping to proudly again stand (or sit or squat) at attention, to be counted as a most astute build.

It'll be fun ya'll!

Mike
