Review submissions that meet the basic requirements (see details page) are eligible for the random drawing prizes. Shep's book and the Tanks book.

Ack...perhaps I need that to be more clear then. THOSE ARE THE PRIZES!

There is a 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prize for each of the six categories.

YM,
Definately not. Winners will be announced by August 7th. That should give us enough time to judge the late entries.

:-) Tap Tap Tap. Can you hear? He's furiously banging a way at his keyboard, pounding out the tome of a lifetimme. Seriously a great idea and an excellent initiative. I still wolda contributed anyways.
Anders, congratulations, polish those bars! I have one question however How come nobody seems to pass throught the intermediate ranks? Gunnery Sgt, Top Sergeant, 2nd Lt. And wouldn't it be interesting to add in the CWO1-4 ranks?? With to many brass we risk becoming top heavy like the Joint Chiefs. Field Marshals could be cool. You could work through all the braches as well, or perhaps offer the choice. You could always consider GS postings, say start with a GS 14 working up to GS 1 the President. However then you would have to pass through asst, and secretary of defense, and what comes after President? Emperor, messiah, or jedi master. Just some fun thoughts that might lead to something.
Good stuff Jim.

I am finally excited about a Dragon Wagon.
I never used to be, as my dad used to say,
"son, stop draggin your wagon!"
as related to yard work or any number of chores etc. that I wasn't moving too fast to get to

MSW
Sounds like a great contest! If I ever get this yard work done

I should get to work on some sort of review/article.

I'm excited about the contest a well. Thanks to Jim and Military Hobbies (and anyone else behind the scenes) for getting this together. Thanks to all the great people who donated kits too! That Dragon Wagon would be a great addition to anyones collection.
Has anyone started a review yet? I've got an F-18 on my workbench right now that I'll be doing one on for the Aircraft category.

Drats!!! I was going to do a review on building the Dragon Wagon Well there goes five endless nights and 600 pages of text out the window. Not serious! Looks like the Firefly will be the choice selection, and... na na na na na its finished already!!!!!

Tread, you would not believe the available room/space we have here. The place still echoes! We even just built a two-walled shelving unit. It's about 15' in total length and floor to ceiling. It's more than 3/4s empty! You know what that means...

You know, the contest has been up for only two weeks. I don't suppose I could talk anyone into providing a Fine Molds TIE to go with the X-wing for best sci-fi article......
