Most of the time I'm not abusing plastic, I'm reading, watching DVD's, or supervising my cats as they diligently perform gravity checks on my build desk...

Reconditioning bicycles and building project bicycles.
Current project is a sand crawler is will be a true beach cruiser that can pedal over beach sand. No brakes or derailers, and a 20" rear wheel on a 26" frame!

Next project is an old german army issue military bicycle.

insolitus, are you a circuit bender? There is a college radio program here that I listen to sometimes. Very interesting audio.

There are actually quite a lot of things beside my plastic addiction...

I play the trumpet in one of our universities orchestras, make electronic music myself, play around with electronics (trying to build my own instruments), and some times paint on flat surface , both with just pencil and try to learn to paint with oil on canvas.

And then of course I should have time to study for my electronics engineering degree... But now it's summer holiday so I have time to write on big A!

I can't dunk any longer, and my crossover dribble is weak, but being 6 ft 4in and with decent vertical leap and so-so wind, I still play basketball two nights a week.

That and reading science fiction take up my non-modeling time.

Oh yeah, wife and kid too..

Other hobbies: board Wargaming and miniatures. The miniatures are microarmor WWII and modern.

Do read some, but not as much as in the past. I think it is the computer for internet and 1st person shooters that takes more of my time.

Hi there

My other interests include building and driving hot rods and street machines (Chevrolets and GM products). My current ride and most recent build is a 1955 Chevrolet Sedan. My other interests include modern history, gardening, cooking (Italian), rugby, motor racing (drag racing, speedway, V8 Supercars, A1 Grand Prix), collecting die cast 1/18 Chevrolet cars, surfing, computers, pc and playstation gaming, making homebrew beer , hi fi the list goes on and on.

Phew no wonder I have no time for modeling.

Cheers

I coach freshman level high school football. Specifically the linemen, both offense and defense. My favorite thing to do is teach fundamentals, technique, and footwork to the guys who were way to big to play at the youth level. Besides football, work, and sniffing glue/paint fumes, I do a considerable amount of barbeque and smoking of meats during the summer and Fall.(try to anyway )
cheers!

When I am not locking up criminals (my job, but hey its fun too), I like to collect and shoot guns, read a lot, chase my 2 1/2 year old son and 8 month old daughter around and also try to make it into the gym to pound the iron 4 or 5 times a week.

I play guitar, fiddle and mandolin. I used to be in a band (we were actually pretty good) but now I'm basically a "parlor musician" playing for my own amusement.
I have several guitars (acoustic and electric), fiddles and a beautiful F-5 mandolin.
Over the years I have accumulated a reasonable firearms collection also. I like to target shoot.
I used to do a lot of off road driving and camping when I had a '72 Land Rover but life got in the way and I had to divest myself of that 'toy' although some day I certainly would love to get another.

Cheers,
